Nostalgia

I found the list in 1995 or so and I don't remember how.  Back then I
was doing dial-up AOL mail because I lived in a small town of 1200 in
NE Iowa and there was no other choice... even the company I worked for
there didn't even have email.

I miss the all-in-one list of back then.  The splintering of the lists
did serve a purpose, but it has also splintered the comaraderie
somewhat.  I did tire of deleted post after post that I had no
interest in, but sometimes, I found interest in every post, probably
due to NE IA boredom.

Nevertheless, I have been on for 13+ years now and am on multiple
lists mostly because I have more than one Audi, but also because I
like to keep up with more list traffic.  It all comes to one email
address that I use only for list mail so it's kind of like it's all
one list anyway.

I have only recently started to venture/post in to the "Audi World",
one regional forum and one model specific forum.  Still not as much
info as this list.

I would trade it for anything.  Met dozens of excellent people and had
many an enjoyable road trip.
