87 5kt intermittent no start

You need to quite literally look inside the hose in a brightly lit area and
seriously flex it to see if there are any cracks in the pleats. The wire
reinforcing helps hide the cracks. If we are going this route, also check
the hose exiting the intercooler, at the bottom by the passenger side
headlight. It's often overlooked, and it takes awhile for the oil to
eventually dissolve a crack in it. I found my leak there.
