i87 5kt intermittent no start

I'm actually beginning to wonder if the injectors have begun to leak down.
If it hot starts well (when the system fuel pressure is still good) and hard
starts (lots of cranking, and the fuel pump MUST start up to re-pressurize
the system) cold, I'd begin to suspect them. In a garaged car, the other
noticable thing is the distinct smell of fuel without a visible leak. The
"proper" way to test this is to put a pressure gauge on the fuel system post
fuel distributor to see how much pressure leaks down post shut down. Me,
thanks to the help of Smitty, I just replaced the injectors, and the hard
start issues went away.
