Orfice Tube for R134A Conversion on Type 44 A/C

Yes you should change it, usually has debris in it.  I don't believe there
is any difference for R134A vs. R12 it is pretty standard GM A/C part.  My
local NAPA had one.

If I remember correctly there was a discussion about the need to change the
orfice tube when converting type 44 A/C to R134A. Can someone tell me what
the proper orfice tube is for this conversion.
