87 CGT no start

Here's one simple thing to check (as this has happened to me before):

Look in the fuse box and you'll see a row of what look to be "spare" fuse
slots at the very front. One of the slots, if you look into it, has small
pins so this is definitely NOT a spare slot.

If the slot is empty, you've found your problem, as the fuse is part of
the circuit for the fuel pump.

It's because it looks like a spare fuse that people like me pull it out in
an emergency to fix something else. And then find that the fuel pump
doesn't run... &:-)
