as an alternative, i measured the wheel > fender distance before i pulled it
apart, and torqued the ca bolts with a jack under the hub assy, jacking the
assy to match the measured distance. it was approximate, and we'll see if it
holds up.
on my a4, there was NO way i was going to get a wrench on the CA bolts with
the tire on, let alone a torque wrench. i can't get my hand past the tire
when it's resting..

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer
is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast
you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.
