ABS Sensor Removal and Replacement

The inner joints don't really require special tools or a press, but
they help. What you need is a set of snap ring pliers, a large hammer,
and a brass punch (drift). With only these tools and a vice to help,
I've done dozens of inner joints. On some of these, if you already
have the outter joint off, you can actually cut the inner boot off,
and slide the new one on from the side of the outer before
reassembling the outer joint. BTW, when you mention you added grease,
it was the CV grease that it came with, I hope.

As for the sensor, they are the same as nearly any older Audi, other
than the length of the pigtail.
