CIS injector testing : any interesting DIY setup ?

You are absolutely right. Only catch, no one here in Montreal seems to test
these anymore... that's why I asked for a DIY tip. In fact, mainly because I
had this failure (blown head gasket that was only 5 years old), I wanted to
eliminate all sources of doubt about fueling/lean condition on the rebuilt
engine. And with 25 used injectors here, I am sure I can find 5 that are
close in terms of flow/pattern and cleanliness. A new set of injectors is
about 200$, which is about 10% of the actual overall cost of the engine swap
and rebuilt, but I hate to replace parts when I don't have to.
Oh, last point : I don't really like the idea of a big fireball, but it's
much cooler to test parts yourself than have it done easily by pros. That's
why this list is for, no ?

ok captain lazy here, but wouldn't it be MUCH easier just to send your
injectors off to have them cleaned / balanced? you'd probably catch a price
break if you offered to let them keep a few extras. and you'd vastly lower
your chances of catching on fire.
at least i did when i had them done for my triumph...
