Not having the exact car, I can't tell you if this will work...but here is where to begin looling:

Take a look at the pair of small connectors on one end.  Each will have two pins-one is black, the other white.  You are to look inside your car for the mating connectors (females).  

I have a '93 Audi 100.  These connectors are in the fusebox located under the hood, on the driver's side fender.  They could also be in the center console, under the dash, etc.

I can tell you with good certainty that if the connectors are there you have OBD-I connectivity.  The adaptor from Ross-Tech allows the VAG-COM hardware to work with the older VW/Audi models with OBD-I systems.
