I don't see it, the starter is going to cost at least $400-$500 at dealer
list (maybe more), and they always come up with at least another $150
worth of "incidentals."  I can't see the dealer touching it for less than
$125 an hour, most likely book too.  Techs hate doing time intensive PITA
jobs like this, they won't be tripping over themselves to grab the
clipboard when it comes in.  I've had chances at real "bargains" on cars
like this, even doing the work myself makes them hard to justify,
especially with the limited market and the huge depreciation hit, no
matter what you paid for it.  Audi isn't the only horse in this town
anymore, but it's usually the most expensive to keep in shoes and oats.
