Alignment issue? CV Joint?

When you shake the tire, are you absolutely sure it's not the wheel on the
hub that's moving??

I had a tire place forget to torque the lug bolts and it did about the same
thing you're talking about.

As far as any tie rod damage or wheel bearing damage or anything more
substantial like that.  If you didn't feel it before, you won't feel it now,
not this significantly different.  Now, if they jack up your tie rod end
trying to free a stuck adjuster, that's a whole nother can of worms.
