R134a retrofit questions?

Wel, I've never owned a type$$ but on my old type85, I did the conversion
that way and it worked great. The key was putting in only about 75% of the
equivelent r-12 charge then slowly (VERY SLOWLY) adding more while
monitoring vent temps. When vent temps bottomed out, stop adding. I also
adjsuted the comrpessor cutout thermostat so that it didnt cut out until
termps hit 33*F...ended up with vent temps of about 35*F...nice and chilly.
