A long time Lurker here,
Sounds fishy- eliminating some of the big the stuff as you have - have you  
replaced the ignition wires? 
On my old 865 5000TQ had an issue and would backfire/miss/buck only under  
load. Turned out the plug wires where arcing. 
Replaced the wires after I convinced myself I did the t-belt job wrong,  
tune-up, ect. Even replaced the ECU.
I looked under the hood at night randomly in frustration, and to my  surprise 
saw the wires arcing. Replaced with BRAND NEW the next day, and viola,  
issues was gone. This after 3+ months of frustration.
If you have done this already then sorry, I'm late to the party here, story  
of my life.
