A4 3.0 TDI

Considering that the euro is approx. 1.5 USD to 1 and the gas 3.2 engined A4
being about $42-44k, what's so surprising?

Equiv. BMW 335d is similarly priced.

S4s haven't been under $40k since the B5 chassis and the C4 cars were a fair
bit over $40k.
