Its not for sale, yet.
I just finished putting on all new control arms about three weeks ago too.
Tozo over on the QuattroWorld A8 list rebuilt my valve body about a year ago
too.
He says its usually the clutch A basket with the P0730 VagCom code.
So I might have a go at the tranny in a month or so when I get done with
this semester of school, 18 hours is a bit much to throw in a tranny project
at the moment too.
I don't think I'll have much of an issue rebuilding the tranny. Issue will
be finding a lift I can use and making an engine support while I'm
rebuilding the tranny.
I know what you mean about going from a 5ktq to an A8. Mine is a '97 with
171k miles.
Just before Christmas we got my wife a new car , '01 A8L, it makes my A8
seem like a POS too.
My '88 5ktq is just sitting under the pecan tree waiting for a lot of TLC
too.
