stuff that makes gas last longer

Basically where I was headed with that is that carbs are much more 
forgiving (and self-cleaning?) of crappy fuel.

And, yeah, don't you want your pull-start mower to "start" for a decade 
or two with minimal issues?  It's not like it has ABS or GPS or air bags.
