Hmm, so a 34% increase in torque, not bad.  How flat is the torque curve?

Where in the RPM band do you start measuring?  I've always been
frustrated at the lack of data from the area where we all drive the
most...vendors seem to purposefully exclude anything under 3kRPM or
so.

It's not so much 2009 models, as TSI engines, aka CCTA code.
Supposedly a *completely* different engine internally, but overall
some major changes, like a timing chain instead of a belt.  Supposed
to be lighter and handle more power, too.  I think I may have answered
my "why are there no serious performance bits for the '09" question in
researching this :)
