A6 rear differential fluid change

It makes sense - each "impact" is, on its own, not enough to hurt 
anything, and you just sit there and "hit" it over and over and over again.

Similarly, the "master mechanic" next door's trick for freeing up brake 
bleeder screws without breakage is to put a wrench on them and tap the 
wrench repeatedly with a very small hammer - a miniature impact wrench. 
Torque is always low (probably a couple ft lbs at most) so it doesn't 
"twist" the bleeder before the threads let go.  It actually works very well.
