Light Bulbs

I haven't changed the halogen 100/150W H4s in the Euroed 200TQA or the golf since this came up last about 2 years ago.
1st step would be to relay the light circuit as you will be losing some voltage in the various OEM connections and switches by now. That should get you a few more lumens and when you decide to go for some nutty offroad bulbs, the relays will already be there.
As for the original question, i think that mine are Osram and no real complaints so far.
Only one set of the silly wattage bulbs lasted less than a couple of years and that was when the missus parked the golf in the back of a taurus owned by a highly excitable greek man. Since the headlamps didn't survive I can't really feel cheated by the bulbs dying.
With standard wattage bulbs, I feel that there's no real need to go for fancy coloured stuff and have been disappointed when dabbling with anything other than the cheapest halogen bulb on the shelf at the time.
