lean at idle

Yeah. Stock O2.   (homebuilt LED gauge).   Hmmm. seems there is pretty fast
response but could be wrong on that one.  Does this really mean I have to
pull codes??? Yuck.  Got a led test light...having wonderful time plugging
into the test points on driver side. Since my ECU is hanging I think I'll go
direct to the ECU for ease of connection.

How are you measuring A/F ratio?  The stock O2 sensor?  If so, how old is
it?

O2 sensors don't fail completely, they just respond more slowly as
they get clogged up.
