ME7 theory of operation docs?

Does anyone have any good references on the ME7-ish engine management units?

I know generally how the ME in the 200q20v works pretty well, but how
the newer stuff works (more specifically on the 'brick) is a bit of a
mystery.  For example, I don't know how the the throttle module fits
into the picture.

I'm having trouble diagnosing problems with my V70R (P2 platform), and
generally finding that the people on both v70r.com and Swedespeed know
f$#@-all about how these cars work.  I've been instructed to replace
virtually every sensor on the car, with every idiot coming out of the
woodwork telling me it MUST be X.

So far, the amusing assortment has included: the MAF, the boost
pressure sensor, the fuel pressure sensor, turbo control valve (WGFV
for us folk), wastegate, wastegate adjustment, the electronic throttle
module, my plugs, bad gas, no compression...
