Speedo or Tachometer is working now?

Well.  Yanked cluster (much easier with wheel off! Connect left side first
(unconnect last).  Soldered all connections again.  Now my speedo locks on
all the time.  Seems my decel works better (imagination?) .no bucking when I
let off the gas. My clock works nicely.  I inadvertently turned ¼ turn  the
coolant temp gauge (my bad).  Moved it back but think it is dead. (no
activity after reinstall).  My gas gauge goes +/- infinity depending on
mood. .which I figure must be a solder bridge.  My light for the gas gauge
works again though.  Now to tackle the engine speed. (tach).  Have a spare
sender I'm going to change out to see.then yank the board again and redo
solder joints under a nice big magnifier. (remove/clean and resolder).  I
happen to have a complete brand new spare board. but figure the solder
joints in it are going to be suspect anyway. at least I have the spare.  Car
is running 10x better than a month ago afer a little bit of electrical
fixing.  Inspires me to keep troubleshooting and getting to a better
baseline. My drive to work today. so much smoother and easier to deal with
..the car just feels more fluid.
