My preference would be to do a cryogenic treatment, but even with this you
should plan on replanarizing the interface at the head. I'd also recommend
you look into having the part ceramic coated afterward to help keep the
exhaust heat out of the engine compartment.

Well. Bought a dialynx exhaust manifold. (thanks Martin). I have read they
can warp from intial install and then they require machining and won't warp
again. Anyone consider heat treating the manifold (followed by machining)
to simulate the initial warp condition? Pre-stressing with heat treatment
seems like a likely fix. Any thoughts on this?
