Thanks! I did a whole bunch of solering..probably made a mess. Did unhook
VR... but didn't do any soldering.  Next time I'm sucking all solder
out...cleaning up and doing each joint again. Easy work and makes for better
car. Even with my 'half' fix (half kill!) I'm happier. Things are working
better.

Not sure, if this applies to you but here's a soldering fix for coolant and
fuel gauge malfunction on a '92 Eurovan.  It works, BTDT with many others.
