New A8

In my old age, I do indeed appreciate the comforts of a well thought out, well appointed
and sure-footed V8. But I surely have no need for a Battlestar Galactica such as Audi's
new A8 regardless of it's performance credentials (of which I am admittedly ignorant).

I'm not sure that even the Japanese could pull off such a gizmo-packed, hyper-pimped,
space barge with any degree of reliability. The Germans? There is a good reason
that _this_ list exists even though our cars are _simple_. I'll bet there are upwards of 30
individual electric motors in this new A8 beast not to mention oodles of very expensive
sensors, displays, actuators, etc. Let's see ... at $1,500 per dealer only repair ...
