You should have an amplified fuba. The amp is in the base of the roof...where the mast screws in. Plus 12V is carried by a single wire, and the base screw (under the headliner) provides ground.
If you get a non amplified fuba, you'll need to install an aftermarket amp and modify the cable in and out of the amp with more standard Motorola ends.

I have a '90 200 avant. Trying to find out exactly what kind of antenna I have and how it's serviced.
Is there an amp in the screw on antenna body? Is it in the roof?
