Oil Loss/Consumption/Pressure issue : Could it be Rear Main Seal?

On my 85 urq I had the infamous rear main seal squeal. It occurred to me
that since I don't drive it often, it had been some time since I changed the
oil (maxima mea culpa). I changed oil and filter and added some snake oil
seal restorer (did you read that Bernie?!) and the squeal is gone. Voila.
