Heater blower

Hi All
I drive an 67 5KTQ and recently my heather blower runns some times but not
others. I have read Scott articial ablut "Blower Motor and Motor Control Unit
Check" and I have removed the rubber elbo and looked inside and poked what
looked like might be the end of the bruches but I was wandering if there was
some other likley cause of intermident blower running?
