See, for instance, the recent (February issue? - came in the mail a couple
days ago) Car and Driver with long-term test wrap-up on an S8 that was
involved in a low-speed front-offset collision (leaking coolant but drove
into parking lot from the street under its own power) - repair bill of
almost $30k and five months in the one shop in all of Michigan certified to
work on aluminum body cars.
