I think maybe that it is not a 1986 urQ. If you notice the note and the
title you'll find that this page is SALES by CALENDAR year, not production
by model year. All that #1 means is that some dealer somewhere sold an urQ
in 1986. It could have even in thoery been a 1983 model car that some dealer
was using as a PR tool sitting in the showroom and they didn't put a price
on it until the model was canceled (or any of a billion other possible
situations).
The above could also explain the comment Steve B made about the figures
being wrong. Maybe Steve saw import numbers by production year (ie. maybe
100 urQs were brought in as 1984 models but 35 of them didn't sell until
1985).
