There was a generation of Nissan Pulsar that offered interchagable rear
sections. The standard hatchback could be swapped for a wagon-like cap or
an open area (like a jump seat) for the truly brave.

The 2nd generation Pontiac Firebird was sopposed to be offered in a Kammback
version, but the styling differences to the Camaro made the cost of
production too high.

The Rabbit Pickup (which I've owned 4 of) had a bed much longer than the
rear deck of a Fiero.

The only [sorta] pickup I can think of that has a short enough bed would be
the Subaru Baja: http://www.johnsongt.com/products/SUBimages.htm The 1st &
2nd generation Subaru BRAT had a curved shape to the b-pillars. So did most
El Caminos.

As for the cap on the Fiero, there is only one pickup mentioned, thus
that is the one no? Pulsar's were not pickups, neither were Firebirds.
