What would be the best source for the matching connector for the VSS
('01 6 speed)? I need the connector with enough wire to solder the
connections to. Dealer, Junkyard, vendor, or?

Thanks,

Andy

<<The secret to keeping the doorhandles on 1980s Audis was lubrication
of all the working mechanisms. Have you lubed your newer car latching
devices and handles/locks? I've been doing a biannual lubing, even on
the 1990s and 2002, to keep them functioning.>>

Could you imagine pulling into Team Monkey Lads LOF and asking them to
"lube my door handles". It would be worth doing just to see the look on
their faces!

That's the rub... aren't all old Audis part of a stable these days? =)

I agree that with a perfect (NEW) CIS system, "modern" fuels aren't an
issue. It's just not reality. It's a simple fact.... Motronic and
newer
handle fuel "issues" far better than anything KE-Jetronic (CIS-E), or
ealier.

Hey, I'm in Atlantic Canada on vacation right now, too! A quick look
online showed Saab dealers in Halifax and Dartmouth, NS and Moncton, NB.

Anyway, I've put in a tank of Irving gas and a tank of Esso
gas. Haven't had a problem with starting my car in the morning with
either one. Car I'm driving is a 95 BMW 318 Convertible. I do use
premium fuel in this car.
