Separating driveshaft from differential

Yup, just like everyone has suggested, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap with a rubber hammer/mallet or anything that gives so as to not bend damage drive-shaft.

Make sure all the allen bolts have been removed; once all the allen bolts are out and still stuck that means, as you guess it, is held in there my rust, grime and pressure.

Same applies to the prop shaft running from the rear of the tranny to the rear diff.
