'94 100 stays in 3rd

A lurking lister suggested off-list that the ECU may have gotten wet.
The SO's son pulled back carpet and found the ECU to be OK, but the
transmission control unit seemed to have been wet and corroded. He's
taking it out, cleaning connections up, going to open up the TCU and
leave it in the sun to dry out.  Hopefully that will fix it.

He noticed a connection coming off the TCU, with a brown and a
gray/black? wire.  Is that a diagnostic connection? Or does it go
somewhere special?
