[NAC] need Volvo serviced in Fairfax VA

Audifans,

My son, at school in Fairfax VA (outside DC, near Dulles), is having
trouble with his '99 Volvo V70 wagon.  It started vibrating, not through
the steering. He took it to a Volvo stealership, who quoted $2400 to fix
it -- all the spark plugs, all the coil packs, the engine mounts, pvc
valve, and some other stuff.

My guess is it's just one spark plug or coil pack. I told him to find
a FLAPS and have them run an OBD-II check on it to pinpoint the cause.
Since he's at school with no tools and hasn't done mechanical things,
even changing a spark plug would be a challenge.

Can anyone recommend an independent Volvo specialist in the area?
Or even a trustworthy generic auto service place?
