Re. pics of 90q tranny and slave cylinder - removal

AN '84 would have been what we call a 4kq, yes.  So my memory is 
correct, early (type 85) uses a pin, later (type 89) uses a threaded 
bolt-like fastener.

So you still take off the (left?) front tire, but use a daisy chain of 
socket extensions to get to it.
