No Snowbanks?  Where do you get your cold cash from?  Seriously though..i
feel for your snow deprivation.  Snow is what makes Quattro happy..and makes
me smile every day I power slide out of my driveway!

The alternator on my '91 200 is the original at only 310,000 miles. (I
bought the car new.) I did change out the regulator and brushes at about
230,000 miles. However the car lives in Monterey, CA where the weather is
mild, there is no road salt, and we don't have snow banks to joust.
