I've got two tricks that usually work on allen bolts. The first attempt is 
to coat the wrench/socket in valve grinding compound. It is very gritty and 
abrasive, so if there is anything left to bite to this works very well. If 
that does fail my next step is to hammer a slightly-too-big torx or tripple 
square bit into the allen.

It's rare that both of those fail, but when they do I go to walmart and buy 
a cheap allen wrench and weld it to the bolt.
