need help with my van

got a quote from a nice shop here
in Flagstaff

they said I just need upper ball joints
and that no one had lubed the front
end in a while

he took the time, dragging the oil
can way out to my car and crawled on
the ground to do it (shop was full)
and then wouldn't take anything for it.

a far cry from all of the front end parts
except for idle arms ... LOL

my hubby said that he would rather do
decks than work on cars so I'll probably
take it in to them.

I got a quote from Napa to rent the
ball joint press for a deposit of $450 !!!

the other place we check deposit of
$25 and $10 a day ... lots cheaper.

but since my hubby would be doing the
work it is up to him whether I take
it to the shop or not ....
