A4 Delta CC Radio R&R

Hi all,

 

Anyone out there remember replacing a Delta radio? I’m want to replace the
old Delta CC radio in my ’96 A4,  and I am wondering what did you do with
the “green” plug wires that the shop manual shows going to the Auto Check
system. The diagram on the top of the radio unit shows this labeled as
“Option”.  I think I have determined the function of the other wires, though
I am curious what “S-Kont.” (Red wire, black plug) might mean.

Also, if you had to run new wires to the trunk, would you go door sill or
down the middle?
