What kind of a crazy person would drive an LT-1 powered German car?

I believe that Morgan also used a GM (Buick or Olds can't recall) small aluminum block?V8 in their roadster. I encountered that motor in a friends LeGrand Sports Racer?some years ago. Didn't Rover also use that motor?

That's right, sorry, I was trying to remember if it had an Italian make
associated to it. I completely spaced De Tomaso.

Well, it was the De Tomaso Pantera, and built in Italy, and sold through
Lincoln-Mercury dealers, so I think it deserves
inclusion in this discussion....

There's a little bit of grey area with the Pantera, IMHO... It was
technically a Ford, wasn't it?

I've been in a car with "too much" HP, and I was scared out of my mind. But,
I'd love to drive it again ;-) Yea, I don't think even "too much" is really
enough........

BTW, don't forget the 351C in the Italian Pantera,

Audi engines? Spyker with the Audi 4.2, Gumphert(sp?) with the Audi 4.2.
Then of course, there's this:

Here's one the other way around: Chrysler did a Daytona with a Jalpa V8 and
AWD in the late 80's.
