Big Brakes on a Ur-Q?

Hi all:
I have managed to pull together all the parts I thought I required for a
big Brembo set up. Unfortunately the S8 rotors aren't even close to
fitting. I have the RS2 carrier/caliper adapter brackets and a set of
996 Brembos calipers with the right adaptive SS Lines.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to another 5x112 bolt pattern rotor
that I can use? The S8 hat stands proud by a centimeter or more I would
guess. It rubs against the lower strut housing/hub assy.
Failing that is it possible to cut and weld the lower assy to clear the
large S8 rotor? I think this wil still result tin the rotor sitting too
far back afterwards.
Then there is the possibility of wheel spacers... But behind the rotor.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
I contacted 034 and their only suggestion was an A8 hat but I suspect
the rotor/hub offset issue will be the same.
Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.
Cheers;
Andrew
