XP mode is not much more than a virtual machine with XP installed onto
it. If you can't have XP mode, go get one of VMware's free products,
such as VMware Server, or get VirtualBox from Sun, and install XP onto
a virtual machine there. You won't get the direct desktop integration
that XP mode has, but it will work.
