Hawk brake pads

Hi:

 

I need new brake pads for my 2006 A6 Quattro. I'm not a hard driver - the
original brake configuration was just fine with me. I'm looking for ceramic
pads mostly because I don't want to deal with all the black brake dust
sticking to the wheels, especially with the impossible-to-clean spokes on
the factory wheels. I don't want to end up with good brakes with a lot less
dust but that make a lot of noise when stopping. I've gotten advice from a
bunch of people and they're split as to whether the Hawk pads will meet both
goals - cleaner and not squeaky. I'd appreciate views from the group.
