O2 sensor

I haven't. I’m guilty. But am getting ready for full bore mission to fix
naggling issues. Finally did timing belt.. now I'm a little less 'afraid'
of the systems. I have some great help from Andrew and Steve and Frank as
of late... it's now a matter of cleaning up what appears to be fuel injector
gremlin and perhaps a leak. I'm an ELec Engineer...yet didn't get codes to
blink from my 200...so that is real high on agenda for today!

I’m off to swap some parts and see about a clutch bleed.

Cheers!

I'm 90% sure the above has nothing to do with the O2 sensor on a CIS car.

Among other things, if it does the idle ping-pong immediately (ie,
before the O2 sensor has warmed up), it's *definitely* not the O2
sensor.

If it has 60k+ since the last O2 sensor change, yes, it'll help with
mileage and emissions, but it won't solve the idle problems.

I assume you've checked operation of the ISV? Have you run all the
CIS output diagnostics?

Brett
