type 43 -44 steering rack

I don't think you can run ATF in the type 44 rack. I'm not sure about other
differences, although people have converted their type 44 cars to use the
type 43 rack because the type 44 rack and other hydraulic hardware is so
notoriously leak prone, and the type 43 less so. Have you contacted Jorgen
about a rebuilt yet?


Should you find out that you CAN run ATF in the typ 44 rack, I've got a good
used one with a new boot for sale. $50 + shipping.
