Yeah, unfortunately snow plowing around here is rather sporatic. I've had to
make 9 miles of unplowed snow 10" deep many a time. Does wonders for
cleaning the underbody.
I *tried* WR-G2's once (the past two winters, which have been mild) and I
wasn't impressed. Pretty damn good for an all season, but pin-and-needles
for 50+ mile treks back from civilization just aren't worth it. And I'd
venture a guess that the WR-G2 are about as effective as the Wintersport
M3/D3 (from my previous experience with them when I lived in civilization).
