'91 100 air-bag light

I suspect that your car would be similar to my '91 V8Q ... but be advised
that it may make a difference whether or not the airbag recall has been done
... 

On my car the connectors that allow the ProDiag/VAGCOM unit to connect are
behind the center console on the left side of the transmission tunnel above
the throttle pedal.  I have ProDiag and have used it to read codes from the
airbag controller on my car.
