ABS light and Vagcom scanner

Having just gone through this experience lately I can contribute a little.
For it to be the ABS module failure you should not be getting any codes
other than a 'no communcation' readout when scanned. When starting the car
you should get three very annoying loud beeps plus the ABS light will be on
as well as the brake light. The ABS light will remain on while driving. All
this usually equals a dead ABS module. Been through this twice always hoping
it is only a bad sensor. At least the costs have come way down over the last
three years.
