On the bottom of page one of the VWvortex link, you can see the condition of the car as we drove in in Reno/Fernley in the spring.

 

Even in the heat down there, the brakes worked great.  Since we were fighting driveability problems from running a ABA2.0 on old hacked CIS (same system we are running in Portland) I never even looked at the brakes until after I drove it.  Then I was amazed, solid front rotors (powerslot) and drum rear.  The car is light.

 

I am hoping to paint the rims white and fit the hood back on it, it was put on without the intake manifold or intake plumbing in place just for the pictures.

 

After we put some cheap assed springs on it and adjusters to help make up for how far the strut tower is still out of place (back up and in at least 2 inches) the car handled great too, I thought it was very neutral with the rear tires wearing close to 50% of the fronts and no weight on them!

 

I am/was trying to keep sponcership as close to original as possible, however due to the fact that we are getting sponcership from LesSchwab they will have a decal on it.

If you send me a sticker or two I will find a place on the car for it.

I ask for nothing, the list has been great for me even though I don't post often.
